What premium gives you

• Houses: buying one at all requires premium.
• Guilds: founding one requires premium.
• Outfits: the premium outfits are only wearable while your time lasts.
• Friend list: 100 names instead of 20.
• Private channels: you can open your own.
• Global chat: you can speak below level 20 in channels that otherwise hold free accounts back.
• Quick loot: loot categories beyond the default one.

When it runs out

Nothing is taken from you. A house you already own stays yours, a guild you founded stays founded. What stops is the ability to do those things again -- and premium outfits go back in the wardrobe until the time is renewed.
